Welcome to the Graduate Exhibition Judge Registration System
The Fox Graduate School's Exhibition Committee is now accepting registrations for judges for the 2026 Graduate Exhibition. Whether you are a member of the Penn State faculty or staff, a Penn State postdoc, graduate student, or alumnus, or a member of the State College community, we invite you to register as a judge and explore the exciting research and creativity of Penn State graduate students. The presentations are designed for a general audience, so no special expertise is needed to be a judge.
The Graduate Research Exhibition features five distinct categories and a special cross-cutting award showcasing Penn State graduate students' research and creative accomplishments.
Categories
- Research Poster Presentations - Graduate students from all disciplines at the University present their research with a poster display.
- Design - This category features research by graduate students from any discipline that focuses on the design of a product, whether that be in a 3-dimensional or digital space.
- Visual Arts - Graduate students for whom creating studio work is a required part of their graduate degree program present their artwork.
- Performance - This category features an evening of musical performances from graduate students who are pursuing graduate degrees in the performing arts.
- Video - Graduate students from any discipline at the University present their scholarship in a video format that captures the excitement, importance, and value of their scholarly work.
Data Visualization Award
The Data Visualization Award, offered by the University Libraries' Data Learning Center, is designed to increase digital information literacy by raising awareness of the importance of data visualization and celebrating good examples. Entrants in the Research Poster Presentation category can choose to be considered for this award.
