Penn State Tobacco Center of Regulatory Science is a sustained transdisciplinary initiative between the Colleges of Medicine (COM) and Health and Human Development (HHD) to create a competency-based multidisciplinary Tobacco Center of Regulatory Science that will leverage the infra-structure, curriculum, and faculty in one of the largest public universities in the nation with an outstanding reputation for preparing and advancing the next generation of clinical and basic scientists. Penn State University is one of the 14 Tobacco Centers of Regulatory Science (TCORS) created across the country by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to inform tobacco regulatory activities.
