Eligibility: Program fellows must be accepted as post-doctoral researchers by Iraeli host institutions, which agree to provide them with a standard post-doctoral grant, which they will receive in addtition to their Fulbright Fellowship.

Professional Profile: Open to academics and appropriately qualified professionals outside of academia. Degree Requirements: PhD (or other terminal degree) not required. Additional Qualification Information: Professionals who have a demonstrated record of research will be considered. Language Requirements: Language proficiency sufficient to complete the research project is required. Please note that for projects in North Africa, a one- or two-page Arabic or French summary of the research project is required with the application. Obtain additional application instructions from CIES staff or visit Invitation Requirements: Invitation letters required. If affiliations are not confirmed by the time of selection, the applicant will be responsible for obtaining affiliations as a condition of receiving an award.
