Research grant: Enables graduate students and post-doctoral scholars to travel to the Truman Library for one to three weeks of research. Up to two Dissertation Year Fellowship grants of $16,000 are given annually to support graduate students working on some aspect of the life and career of Harry S. Truman or of the public and foreign policy issues which were prominent during the Truman years. Grants of up to $30,000 are made to post-doctoral scholars engaged in work on some aspect of the life and career of Harry S. Truman or of the public and foreign policy issues which were prominent during the Truman years. Deadlines for Research Grant: April 1 and October 1 Deadline for Dissertation Year Felllowship: February 1 Deadline for Post Scholars: December 15 of odd numbered years.
